APRES SWIMWEAR Inspired by the flavour and madness of the Mediterranean lifestyle, 'Après' was born out of a group of friends' desire to solve their pertinent style problem.  Spending every day soaking up the sun on Mediterranean beaches naturally meant that swimwear was an important part of their lives, but their growing dissatisfaction with the available shapeless, baggy and poorly designed trunks led to the creation of 'Après' in 2015.  'Après' seeks to provide men with comfortable trunks, combining fresh colours, fun prints and a tailored cut for whatever their action-packed summer throws at them.

CRUZADO Ryan graduated in 2015 from Northumbria University with a cutting-edge, urban collection inspired by ruggedly exposed brutalist architecture. His respect for the unpretending honesty of such stark constructions communicate strength and functionality; encapsulating a modern approach to masculinity. The rigid shapes of the architecture create contrasting and angular areas of shadow and light, which too have informed the structure and shape of his work. He is particularly inspired by the serenity of Tadao Ando’s architecture, and uses the muse of ‘The New Crusader’ as a human embodiment of the ethos behind his designs.

SAHIRA By creating clothing that focuses on the individual, Sahira’s garments are made for the wearer to work alongside their own sense of self. Exploring an aesthetic where menswear and womenswear meet, using silhouette, fabrication and colour, the London-based designer emulates a laid-back, fluid aesthetic. Sahira is intrigued by neutrality and endeavours to push this concept to its limits, aiming for a balance within gender and culture and undermining the prescriptive nature of these terms. In addition, the fusing of cultures has been of particular interest to Sahira, taking influence from the Persian culture and the depth of culture that migrants from the Middle East bring to the West.

PINK HOUSE MUSTIQUE The Pink House Mustique was founded in 2008 on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Mustique. Influenced by the island’s stunning fauna and flora, British designer, Lotty Bunbury, began to create women’s sarongs and kaftans for the Pink House, developing an easily recognisable "Mustique style” : fun yet sophisticated. While women visiting Mustique paraded around in Lotty B  kaftans and sarongs that were designed and painted on the island, there was no apparel for men that was uniquely "Mustique.” So, Lotty introduced Pink House Swim for men. Lotty’s collections for men and women soon became the shop's best sellers and were sought after by other boutiques throughout the Caribbean. Interest from the rest of the world followed, prompting the launch of Pink House Mustique labels in-store and online, making the increasingly popular beach and resort wear available worldwide.

DARCIE SCHOLES Darcie Scholes is a Nottingham based womenswear designer with a feminine yet fierce collection that has been invited to show at Vancouver Fashion Week 2018. Her collection toys with the stereotypes surrounding females in contemporary culture with emphasis on the “women should be” mentality, even down to her use of sickly sweet glitter fabrics and pretty pink colour palette - but looks past all of this and delves deeper into a contrast of rebellious femininity. This is referenced through innovative materials such as rubber, silicone and latex. The juxtaposition of cute aesthetics collide with sexual references to create a thought provoking take on contemporary female empowerment
